8. Faith
Season: Four Corners
Placement: 8th
Edgic: CPN
Faith is without a doubt the best villain in the first two seasons of Good & Evil. There are two types of villains in my mind: the calculating villain who eliminates others without remorse and the chaotic villain who laughs luxuriously while lightning strikes behind them. I would consider Gregory as the latter, and Faith as a mixture of both.
Faith started out on the Aqua tribe, which was by far the most strategically active tribe. However, they all really sucked at challenges. At their first Judgement, Faith set her sights on Violet as her most immediate threat- and somehow got the votes together to eliminate her. Violet went pretty easily and an alliance of Jackie/Taylor/Faith was created. This was a straight-forward CPN play by Faith. Where she got devious was the next round, when Jackie went apeshit. Henry was supposed to be the next to go, as Faith had Owen tucked in her pocket. However, when Jackie started to get crazy paranoid- Faith cut her for the sheer annoyance of the entire thing. It was glorious.
At this point, Faith and Taylor were pretty tight- and then the swap game. Aqua & Ventus merged- and Faith kind of latched onto the Ventus girls. Faith became pretty at odds with Henry & Taylor, who had at this point joined forces and things seemed pretty bleak for the Aqua tribe. Luckily, Kyle became an inactive slut so he went home at the first Judgement. At the next is when Faith seemingly lost power. Owen was voted out, and while Faith thought that she was in control of who went that round- she wasn't really aware that the Ventus girls had them wrapped around their fingers.
At the merge, she pulled in Wendy & Zoe for a very, very obvious alliance. This is when Faith's game was coming to an end. She became so blinded by her perception of power that she didn't quite realize that it was dwindling. She convinced both Quinn and Muprhy to flip on the Evil tribe, and this is probably the last time Faith ever really had power.
Chad, Peter, and Quinn all left pretty soon- and Faith then decided to target Henry, who at this point had been a guest star in her self-titled show. However, as it turns out, Henry had already snuggled up pretty close to Emily- and Emily and Annie took the time to make sure that Henry didn't leave that round. Instead, they decided to cut out Faith who was in their way of getting to the finals. Faith ended up getting a respectable 8th Place, was a great character in her Confessional, and was a very interesting player to watch.
