The first line in my confessional at the start of the game was, "Not a lot of people online for the start of a game. I feel like I got along decently with Colleen and Ryan."

Congrats to both of you, you know how to make a good first impression, and at least one of you knows how to play this game well enough to win.

My problem is, I didn't get to see either of you play the game very much. I was on Liberty at first while you were both on Ellis. I got switched to Ellis, and Ryan was there but we never had to vote anyone out. I got switched back to Liberty with Colleen, and was immediately voted out.

It seems almost unfair that I get a vote in this situation, but those are the rules, and you both knew them, so I'll just say my vote is up for grabs. On to the questions!

To both of you: Give me a summary of your game play and why you made the decisions that you did. You can be as detailed as you want, but a good rule of thumb is that if it required more thought to make the decision, you should write more about it.

To Ryan: When we were both on Ellis, the original Liberty outnumbered the original Ellis 4-3, so what were you doing to make sure you wouldn't be voted out if we lost, and to improve your standing in general?

To Colleen: Elaborate on your thought process during the round that I got voted out. For example: Ben later said he had no idea that vote nullifiers were even in effect, even though I had told you I was going to use mine. So, was that a conscious decision not to tell him? Just elaborate on the whole process that round, since that was when I got to interact with you the most in a strategic setting.

If you'd like to address the individual questions within a larger post about your gameplay, go ahead, or you can keep them separate.

It would seem disingenuous to wish you both luck when I know only one of you can win. Therefore, I simply wish that you both have good final tribal council performances and that you both feel the time playing this game was worthwhile.

I didn't really have to do anything because we won every challenge, lol. My goal was to just be friendly and try to form some alliances. I knew I was on the outs as soon as the tribes were announced because apparently the tribemates in the chat made some deal and me/Tina/Carly weren't apart of it. I ended up working myself into the core. I knew Ellen was the top dog of our tribe so I made sure to kiss her ass even though it was mostly genuine But you know, I had the lip balm and everything. An alliance was formed between me/Ben/Ryan/Ellen. That was my main alliance throughout the game. I also had another alliance which consisted of me/Ben/Ellen.

Ellis had the numbers but we didn't like Tina so we were willing to vote her off but then Yuri also disappeared. Dom/Ellen obviously worked Jonah and Chase to be on our side which was good for me because I didn't have to make a deal with them and we used them for numbers, lol. I was sticking with Dom and Ellen no matter what. The one thing that annoyed me that round was when Dominic told me that we were throwing the challenge and to delete my posts. I didn't want to do it but I felt like I had to because I didn't want to put a target on my back.

Dominic tells me/Ben that we should throw the challenge to gain Ellen and to keep Ellis safe on the other side. I hated the idea originally because I knew we were gonna boot Liam and I was happy to be finally on the same tribe as him. I was also paranoid that Dominic might flip because of his partnership with Kendell. But then Dominic shares that he has the idol and told me everything that Liam/Kend were saying so I was fine with throwing it to boot Liam. I kept quiet about Liam's nullifer because I didn't want to be in the TB.

Ellis agreed to make F6 together. I mean, me/Ben/Ryan/Dom/Ellen were always on late and we just bonded so well. I had no connections to the Liberty people so I didn't feel the need to make deals or flip or anything.

At F8, I was definitely pro keeping Dominic. I knew he was the biggest threat because he made himself out to be one. Ryan wanted to vote him out to save AJ but I wasn't comfortable with it. I wasn't sure why Ryan wanted to keep her (now it makes sense, lol) but I didn't want her to have another alliance to fall back on. Plus I needed Dominic in the game for numbers and so he would be targeted over me.

At F6, I didn't want to vote Dominic because he totally deserved to make F5 but the thing is, I was playing for my alliance to make F4 so as much as I wanted him to stay one more round, I had to vote him out because I didn't want to vote out Ryan/Ellen/Ben if Dominic won immunity the next round.

At F5, I knew Ben ended up being the biggest threat to win by this point. I just didn't want to vote him out because loyalty is more important to me and if I can't win against him then it was my own fault for not playing a better game. I campaigned to Ellen to keep him because I knew there were talks about him getting the boot (from Ryan) and she assured me that she was keeping Ben because we did have a F3 alliance.

At F4, I was blindsided by the Ben vote. I felt screwed and that I was played like everyone else. I was so mad at Ellen because she lied to me when she didn't have to. I've mentioned, I am a level-headed player so I just kept my cool even though I wanted her head on a platter I wanted to win immunity so bad but unfortunately that challenge just wasn't for me. If I won, I was gonna go to Carly and tie the vote. Even though I did talk to Carly it was just awkward and went nowhere. We didn't want to say anything because we had no trust and I'm glad I didn't open my mouth too much because homegirl went and told Ellen/Ryan what I said. I wasn't sure what they were gonna do but I just acted confident even though I thought I was going to be eliminated.

At F3, I was thankful that the girls kept their words to me but I knew I had to win the challenge because I didn't want either of them to take me because they thought I was a "easy beat" or something. I wanted to choose my own destiny and to finally have the power that I've been craving since the start, lol. I did go into the challenge wanting to take Ellen because I was more closer to her and most of my decisions are based on that. But after winning the challenge, I realised, it wouldn't be a good move. Taking out Ellen would be the move of the game and something that should have happened rounds ago. She was in control every round, had everyone in love with her and she just played an amazing game. I didn't want to bank on the jury to remain bitter so I voted her out because I thought I had a better chance beating Ryan.

So yeah pretty much my game was straight forward like I said in my opening statement. I ended up being loyal to all my alliances and deals. I didn't backstab anyone and to me that is pretty amazing to play a game without backstabbing at least one person. I wasn't the strongest during the tribe phase but I stepped it up during individual and won 3 immunities... granted one was luck I was underestimated and it worked out for me because no one found me threatening and here I am, sitting in the F2.

When you sent me that PM, I was shocked that you had a nullifer. I had no idea where it came from and all I know is that I didn't want it used on me so I never mentioned it to Ben. So yes, it was a consicous decision not to tell him because I didn't want to be in the TB.

My whole thought process that round;

I knew you were going to be the vote because we threw that challenge to boot you since Kendell was Dominic's partner. I was annoyed at Dominic for the past few rounds because I felt he was too controlling but I wanted to stay loyal to Ellis. I think there was a small chance that I would vote with you, had your target been Dominic but you lied about your partner and actually wanted to work with Dominic first over me so I knew you had to go that round.

I didn't tell you straight away that I wasn't gonna vote with you. I mean, I kinda hinted at it but I implied that my mind wasn't made up but it definitely was. I did that because I didn't want you to change your vote to me and work on Ben/Dom to vote with you. All I know is that you shocked me with the nullifer thing and I didn't wanna be in the TB.

Ellis

Well, I started off the game basically just wanting to be friends with everyone. This strategy worked, and I developed a pretty close relationship with every single person on my tribe. An alliance was quickly formed between Myself, Yuri, Dominic, Ellen, and Ben. We called ourselves "Tina's Army of Skanks", named after the wonderful Tina.

Nu-Ellis

The tribe switch threw everyone in a loop. I was in the minority at this point. However, AJ did not have a good relationships with all of the Liberty members with the exception of Chase. Because Chase was not on our tribe, she was fine with flipping at this point. A common misconception is that our pre-game friendship caused this. Well, AJ was the one to approach me about it, so it was not decided immediately. It took a few rounds for AJ to flip. So myself, Ben, AJ, and Carly were in control of Nu-Ellis at this point.

NuNuEllis

Another tribe switch. Another original Ellis minority. AJ was a little less eager to flip now that Chase was on our tribe. When we had to go to Judgement, Carly was in danger. AJ wanted to vote Leah, but Chase was getting nervous that I wasn't scrambling. So AJ told me to approach Chase about a deal going into the merge. I did this to keep AJ calm even though I didn't want to make unnecessary deals. However, the fact that AJ was telling me to and she was really the swing vote made this deal necessary, in my opinion. So then Leah was voted out, which kind of sucked because I was just starting to get to like her.


Manhattan

The first round was the biggest clusterfuck. I was really a big force pushing for Chase to go. It was not a personal thing against Chase. I just saw him as the biggest threat and really the glue holding Liberty to go. So at first the vote was for Kendell, but then I pushed for Chase to go again because it could still be a "blindside" in case he had the idol. I knew he didn't because I had the idol, but I still had to play along with it.

The final 8 sucked. Kendell won immunity, ruining everyone's plans. I started pushing for a Dominic blindside. The main reason this didn't happen was because Ellen didn't feel comfortable with it. I could have used my idol or my nullifier to take Dominic out, but I didn't want to go against Ellen at this point. I had to vote out my friend, AJ, and it was SUPER hard for me. However, had this not happened, I do truly believe AJ would be sitting here and winning the game right now. I'm not just saying that.

At the final 7, there wasn't much scrambling. There was still mild chatter over getting rid of Dominic, but it was too tempting to have an Ellis final 6. Also, Kendell had somewhat of an emotional breakdown here so people just voted her out.

At the final 6, it was a preconceived notion that Dominic was going because I had pushed for it for the last 2 rounds. So Ellen used her blinding light and everyone jumped on board to vote for Dominic. Dominic really fought hard to stay, and he gave me a lot of information about Ellen that I had not known prior to this move.

At the final 5, Ellen and I decided that Ben should be blindsided. I was particularly bothered by his comments at Judgement, and he was seen as a remaining challenge threat standing in the way of me and Ellen making it to the final 2. I did not have the opportunity to talk to Ben at all before this vote. So, it stayed a blindside so that Ben and Colleen could not cause an uprising with Carly.

At the final 4, I wanted Colleen to go. However, Ellen changed her mind and decided she thought Colleen deserved to stay more. I assume that Ellen just wanted a f3 scenario where she'd be guaranteed f2, but I can't say that for certain. I wanted to cause a tie between Colleen and Carly, but Carly had approached me saying Colleen was talking about voting me out. So, I didn't want to split mine and Ellen's votes and risk me just going.

At the final 3, Colleen won the final immunity. I worked hard trying to get Colleen to see that Ellen was a force to be reckoned with in the finals. both of our strategies relied heavily on Ellen, and Ellen deserved to win hands down if she was in the finals. Colleen changed her mind and took me to the final 2 instead of Ellen.

Well, i had the individual immunity necklace to give me extra protection. In addition, AJ was debating whether or not to flip, like I mentioned earlier. So that was my main strategy during the switch.
