On Sunday, January 20th at 10 PM EST one of the biggest online battles will commence. 20 players will face off in an alias styled game played on AIM where only one person can claim the prize. The title of Sole Survivor and a gift card to their choice of Itunes, Ebay or Amazon will go to the winner.
If you aren't familiar with an alias mini game before then here's a simplified example. All players will create an AIM screen name that represents a character from Survivor (Dawn, Cochran, Andrea, etc..) and then you will be invited to your tribe chat. You will compete in challenges in the chat room. All the while, communicating and building relationships/alliances with the other tribe members in your chat/through IM. Eventually, you will merge in a new chat and the game will become individual. Some will make it to the jury which is sequestered in a new chat and 3 will make it to the final tribal council where one wins it all.
A mini is a condensed version of an ORG. It usually takes 2-3 hours long. The challenges are all quick, 3-5 minutes at most. Then the TC is the about 5-10 minutes. It's quick, intense, exciting, crazy and unpredictable. Are you up for the challenge?
