After spending time isolated on Governors Island, it feels amazing to be reunited with people again.
To see familiar, friendly faces and to be welcomed back with such open arms, it's just phenomenal. Even though I haven't known Colleen and Dominic for very long, they've really become my surrogate family out here; Ben and Ryan as well.

Being exiled, I feel like I've missed a lot, just from a game standpoint; apparently things have been very busy in my absence.
Liam is out, which really came as no surprise; logic alone begets that the numbers situation would dictate that. From what I'm hearing though, the vote was not so cut and dry.
Liam was able to nullify a vote with a prize he received from the Liberty Island Mystery Box, sending things to a tie breaker challenge that almost cost Ben the game.
It almost goes without saying, but obviously there's an identical, or at least similar prize, floating around over on Ellis... as if things weren't complicated enough already.
Because while Dominic did confide in Colleen and me that he found the re-hidden Liberty HII, we're going to have at least one, possibly two more of those puppies floating around at the merge.
Throw in my Blinding Light and this endgame is shaping up to be a virtual minefield.

If you think this is a minefield, then you have a hard time swallowing Annie's cooking.

After being on such a long losing streak with this tribe, it feels great to finally win a challenge. Our victory couldn't have come at a more perfect time either. Sure, Kendell would have been an easy vote over here, but when we learn who Ellis sends to the jury we're going to gain a lot of valuable insight into their group dynamic.
I'm really hoping to reunite and reconnect with Ryan, but the two of us have been separated for so long that I know I need to be careful. AJ and Leah have had a lot of time to make in roads over there and I don't trust Chase farther than I can throw him.
At this point I only really trust Colleen and Dominic to vote the way I need them to. I love Ben to death but his big heart has the potential him astray, especially when it comes time for him to send his friends to the jury.
The last thing I need is people getting sentimental on me at this point in the game. This thing is far from over despite any tribal advantage that original Ellis might currently have.

Kendell is a space cadet. I mean really, the girl is impossible to carry on a legitimate conversation with. She's like the kid who was on your softball team when you were little, you know the one; the kid who sat on their ass and picked dandelions in the middle of the game, completely oblivious to everything else going on around them.
It's honestly frustrating because I'm trying to make a connection with the girl but her head is constantly in the clouds. I could have used her going forward, but at this point she's just not cooperating. Why does my life have to be so hard?
