Well, I was going to apologize to my tribe for being unable to do much competing today, since I have a sudden unexpected meeting with friends (real world comes first, ya'll). But, none of them are online, or have posted today. Apology revoked!

My tribe is just not even trying with this challenge. As somebody who has gotten a challenge thrown on them before, it just tweaks my paranoia slightly.
Kendell is sure Dominic is with her, but I'm not. I'm not at all. I think we are outnumbered 3-2, and that I would go before Kendell. I don't want to go. :/

Oh man, oh man, oh man. I think I won a vote nullifier. I'm not entirely sure what that does, but based on the name, I'm guessing I can nullify one person's vote.
I think Kendall and I are voting for Ben. If I use it on Ben, that would make it 2-2, but then the revote would be 2-1, and I'd lose.
Also, if I use it this time, I have nothing protecting me when Ellen joins with the other two. I think I'll tell Dominic and Colleen I'm using it on the other one, and that if they don't want a tie, they should join me.

There is not a revote at a 2-2 vote.

Good to know. How exactly does the knife work?

You need to play it with your vote with the name of someone else. That person's vote will not count.

Ok. I told Colleen that Kendall and I are voting for Ben, and that I'm going to use the vote nullifier on Ben.
I'm still undecided as to whether I actually will use it. If they are welling to vote for me even with a vote nullifier, I'm probably screwed socially anyways. If one of them switches their votes, then it would be a waste. It's hard to know the right decision. I mean, I'm forcing a tie, and they know that. They could still lose a tie, and they're getting Ellen anyways, so they might not be that concerned. Hard decisions to make, but I'm leaning against using it.

It worked. It's like, I understand that this is probably the worst outcome that I could've gotten from tribal, but I am so pumped right now. The fact that I am still in this game because of my own doing, even if just for a day, is awesome. I almost didn't play the knife, but I made the right decision and kept myself in the game. Now I just have to beat Ben's ass at a challenge. I know he can beat me, but I have to think I'm the favorite. I've done better in most challenges than he has. This is the only thing to focus on right now. Then, I have to beat Ellis at the next challenge and hopefully merge.

I said hi to Dominic and Kendell, then realized that I had spelled Kendall's name wrong so I said, "I mean Kendall". Then Dominic called me butthurt.
Real good jury management skills there Dominic. Insulting people is rarely a good decision in survivor.
I of course was trying to suck up to him, so I came clean about a couple things. Still, I get this, "I'm better at survivor/slightly condescending" vibe from him. If somebody is going to win from this tribe, it'll probably be Colleen. She came out of this looking the best in my opinion.
Kendall, you're a lovely person, but you never initiate any strategy. You also were super confident in Dominic, and that trust was misplaced.
Ben: Nice guy, didn't do much strategizing or work on challenges though. Tried to get you out because you seemed the least likely to work with me. You seem like you're going with the flow a bit.
Dominic: If you really don't get why I didn't trust you when it was basically our 1st or 2nd conversation all game, then I don't know what to tell you. If I get outplayed, I get outplayed, but I could do without the attitude. I know we're both BS'ing each other and I'm probably fairly transparent. But you could at least pretend like I might possibly be part of your game. Openly rooting for Ben in the challenge, and telling me that I'm not dead because I could win the tie-breaker, and the next challenge to make it to the merge. I.E You're not dead unless we get a chance to vote you out.
Colleen: You basically said, "I'm sorry, it's part of the game and it was hard". Good jury management, not flipping is probably the best strategic move for you also. The one mistake here might be that you basically let me know by your response that I didn't have Dominic's vote, so if I hadn't played the knife it would have let me know. You potentially lost an opportunity to get me out over Ben, but you've potentially gained a jury vote if you end up in the finals. Not sure how to evaluate it, but you seem to be playing a good game.
I have learned a valuable lesson in this game. If you're going to lie, make it a big lie. The little ones seem sneaky and just make you seem untrustworthy. I'm still overplaying, but not as much as before.
