Sorry I wasn't around much of the day - Christmas festivities! I don't really understand the challenge much, but I followed everyones lead and posted in the forums. Also, idk if it helps but I found lupus (wolf) as one of the boards? The code inside was 0.

I found this board while looking for the Nasuella genus (but it fit none of the other species in the genus) so I assume it's to something else? I also looked on google and apparently it is a type of sea turtle? But again, none of the other species fit... Hmm. Did we already find this? www.gvse3.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=olivacea

Great work, Ben!
I spent like three hours looking last night and couldn't find anything. :/
Got a bunch of relative visits that I have to do today, but I'll try to be on chat some time this afternoon...

Ugh. I am having no luck with this challenge at all.
Given that we've had bears, wolves, martens, otters, birds, and alligators, it's pretty hard to guess what else might be out there. I've looked into just about every significant mammal, amphibian, and reptile species in North America, but it's possible that my spot-checking is missing something.
It'd be reasonable to expect there to be something in the large hoofed mammal vein, but I have no clue at this point...
